Job management

See who is doing what — without chasing the whole team

With several jobs running at once, it is easy to miss a changed date or an important detail. I help you choose a way of working that keeps the right information available to the people handling each job.

When useful

When this is useful

This is useful for installers, renovation businesses, property maintenance teams and other small service firms. It fits recurring problems such as unclear responsibility, forgotten checks and customers waiting while someone looks for an update.

What we set up

What I can set up

  • One shared place for jobs, with clear stages.
  • A job template with owner, date, a list of things to check and key files.
  • Views for the office and for the people doing the work.
  • Reminders about dates and important steps.
  • A walkthrough using example jobs and instructions for the team.
Example workflow

What this could look like in your business

A customer calls to ask about their installation date. The office can see straight away who is handling the job, what has been done and what was agreed — without calling the whole team.

Illustrative example — not a client case study.

Tools & scope

Choosing the right tools

A tool such as ClickUp may be enough for a small team. I use a small number of views and fields so staff can find what they need. If route planning, offline work or specialist field-service features are essential, I assess a more suitable tool before committing.

A clear scope before I start

Before I start, you receive a quote describing the work. If paid software or extra services are needed, I show their costs separately. I also agree with you who will look after the solution once it is live.

I suggest starting with one team and one way of working. Other departments can be added later.

Process

How I work

  1. You show me how you work today and some sample information.

  2. You receive the scope, the price and any subscription costs.

  3. I set up the solution and check it in typical situations.

  4. I show you how to use it and confirm who will handle later changes.

Questions

Questions you may have

Can the team use it on a phone?

I check the chosen tool and the exact tasks your staff need to complete on mobile before rollout.

Do we have to move every job at once?

No. A small pilot with a few representative jobs is often a better start.

Can customers see our board?

Only if a suitable client view is part of the agreed setup. Internal notes should not become public by default.
